2010/2011 Water Fowl Season

We are excited to announce that it is time to sign up for the 2010/2011 Water Fowl Season. The 2009/2010 season was the best in several years. The prospects for 2010/2011 are looking great. We are excited about the new properties we have acquired such as the Franz Ponds in Katy and properties in East Bernard across from Otto’s. This will give us access to 25,000 acres. We are excited that we will have an appointed person to manage COF Members and guide them to the hunting areas.

You have three options this year. The Executive Membership which will give you access to 25,000 acres, the Garwood/Nada Private Pond with 15 acres of water surrounded by Rice and the Anahuac Private Ponds with 16 acres of water surrounded by Milo and Rice. Here are the details on each membership:

Executive Membership

COF/Third Coast Outfitters Water Fowl General Membership

Cost: $600 Cost covers The Entire 2010/2011 Season, No Guest Fee, Only One Guest Per Hunt Allowed Child Or Adult, You Can Pay In Full Or Installments: 90 Days-Aug $200, Sept $200, Oct $200, 60 Days-Aug $300, Sept $300                 

  • GUIDED HUNT OPTIONAL:  If You Book A Guide, Guide Fee Is $50.00 Per Person, Extra Scouting, Guide, Retriever, Decoys And Hunt Set Up Are Provided
  • Memberships are limited, HUNTING PROPERTIES:  1. Franz (Brookshire)- New property with 6 duck ponds and a roost. 2. Turkey Creek (Beasley) New property 30 minutes from Houston 4 ponds and roost. 3. Reed (Lissie) New Property 2 ponds in Rice. 4. Glen Flora (Wharton) New property 10 acres of flooded green timber and 40 acres of crawfish ponds with rice. 5. Blue Creek (El Campo) 4 ponds and a roost. 6. Grady Allen's (El Campo) 1 Pond in rice. 7. Blockers (Bay City) 80 acre D.U. project can hunt 3 groups. 8. Darnell (Bay City) 2 ponds in rice. 9. Red Gate (El Campo) 1 pond. 10. Silivas (Bay City) 3 ponds. 11. Nada 2 (Garwood Prairie) 4 ponds (In Negotiation) 12. Coastal (Markham) 6 ponds (In Negotiation) We are in negotiation on two properties right now. If they do not work out we plan on replacing them with something equal in size, location, and quality.
  • You Are Allowed To Hunt Monday-Sunday As Much As Much As You Want Until 12:00pm
  • MANAGERS: Nick Stillwell and Lane Thompson With 20 Years Of Water Fowl Management Experience

  5. 110 acres at highway 90 and FM 1875. pasture.
  6. 230 acres off of FM 1875. corn,milo,plowed.
  7. 110 acres off of Koym Road. milo, corn.
  8. 100 acres on the East side of Spur 10 near highway 90. pasture with pond.
  9. 100 acres on the West side of Spur 10 near highway 90. pasture with 2 ponds.
  10. 110 acres of corn, cotton on West Taverner Road.
  11. 50 acres of pasture on Hopkins road with 1 pond.

We have more property we have put bids on. We are waiting to hear about 1100 acres of Milo split between 2 farms South of 59 near Rosenberg.
